Kristen Pfeifle M.A., CCC-A, came to Maxwell, Kluger & Makaretz in September 2001 after starting her audiology career in the Lewiston area. Coming to Maine after completing her undergraduate and graduate work at The University of Connecticut, where she completed the Childhood Hearing Impairment Program, Kristen has found the state very much to her liking. She and her husband recently bought a home in Gray. They enjoy refurbishing their 1870s farmhouse and taking advantage of the outdoors.
Certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and a member of the American Academy of Audiology, Kristen even took a turn as Secretary of the Maine Academy of Audiology before giving up the post this past year. Though she enjoys many aspects of audiology, Kristen particularly likes fitting hearing aids and working with children.
