Michael Makaretz, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a 1983 graduate of the Boston University school of Medicine
and completed residency training at the University of
Pennsylvania in 1988. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology
and is a Fellow of the American College of surgeons, the American Academy
of Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery, and the American Head and Neck
Society.
Dr. Makaretz has broad experience in Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine and Surgery, and treats both adults and children. His particular areas of interest are the treatment of head and neck tumors, the medical and surgical treatment of sinus disease, and the care of voice problems in singers and other voice professionals. Dr. Makaretz is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Makaretz is a avid kayaker, skier and fisherman.
